Jayapura, 5/4 (Jubi) – Coach JF Tiago derived a defender Daniel Tata to join his first squad. Tata has been able to demonstrate his performance during the last two matches of the AFC against New Radiant of Maldives.

“I though his performance was pretty good when played against New Radiant at the Mandala Stadium. He was able to read the direction of the ball and played tactical. His present has made his colleague Bio Pauline dare taking a risk to do an overlapping,” the former striker of PSBS Biak Yosef Sroyer told to tabloidjubi.com on Saturday (5/4).

However, he further said, Tata should pay attention to his speed. But if Coach Tiago continued to assign him to play, his performance including his speed would be improved. Moreover, his skills would be more mature in the international game event.

Daniel Tata’s premiere game has begun when the former defender Ruben Sanadi got injured during the match against Persiba at the Mandala Stadium causing him to out of the game in the second half. Coach appointed Tata to replace Sanadi to play as left defender.

Daniel Tata who was a former player of Persipura U21 has started his debut with Persipura in 2011. He has skills to play as a left defender, center back or even forward defender.

From the review of tabloidjubi.com, he showed the remarkable skills when played against New Radian on 18 March. He was calm, not nervous or in hurry when tackling the ball. He even pushed his rival to make a fatal mistake. It was different with Dominggus Fakdawer when played against the Churchill Brother. Fakdawer has made at least two mistakes.

Coach Tiago also thought the center back Daniel Tata has the outstanding potential.
“He continues to improve during several times of practice,” he said after team exercise at PTC on Tuesday 16 August 2011 when Tata was first time recruited.  Further the coach said if he could maintain this positive way, he would be the future of Persipura.

It seems like the coach’s choice has resulted since Tata has gradually proved his skills as defender. This outstanding talented young boy has denied team’s dependence towards the former defenders Victor Igfonefo and Octavio Dutra as well. Bravo Persipura.  (Jubi/dominggus a mampioper/rom)
